Future Pathways

Future Pathways works with students to gain practical work-related skills and underpinning knowledge to achieve a wide range of vocational and educational outcomes. Students have an opportunity to experience a variety of educational institutions (TAFE, Private Providers and Universities) as well as industry related vocations outside of the school environment.

While attending school, students have the opportunity to be guided into Work Experience, School Based Traineeships/Apprenticeships, Studies at TAFE and University. They are encouraged to work/study in fields of their choice and gifting. Hence students gain skills and knowledge relevant to contemporary society and work.

Except for work experience all students’ studies whether they are in the trades or at University level add to the student achieving a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Students who study at University during Year 11 and/or 12 may have their subjects credited to them upon entering into university.
